While the iPhone 12 mini comes as the smallest and the most affordable model in the new series, the iPhone 12 is designed as the successor to the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max are projected the successors to the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, respectively. All four models in the 2020 iPhone lineup come with 5G support and are powered by Apple’s A14 Bionic chip. The latest models also run on iOS 14 out-of-the-box and retain the notch that was featured originally on the iPhone X in November 2017.

iPhone 12 mini price in India has been set at Rs. 69,900 for the 64GB storage variant, while its 128GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 74,900 and the top-end 256GB storage option is priced at Rs. 84,900. The iPhone 12, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 79,900 for the 64GB storage option, Rs. 84,900 for the 128GB storage variant, and the 256GB storage model at Rs. 94,900. However, the iPhone 12 Pro will retail starting at Rs. 1,19,900 for the base, 128GB storage variant, while its 256GB and 512GB storage options will be available at Rs. 1,29,900 and Rs. 1,49,900, respectively. The iPhone 12 Pro Max, in contrast, starts at Rs. 1,29,900 for the 128GB storage variant. Its 256GB option is priced at Rs. 1,39,900 and the highest, 512GB storage model carries a price tag of Rs. 1,59,900.
In the US, the iPhone 12 mini price starts at $699 (roughly Rs. 51,200), while the iPhone 12 begins at $799 (roughly Rs. 58,600). The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other front, are starting at $999 (roughly Rs. 73,200) and $1,099 (roughly Rs. 80,400), respectively. The iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 will be available in Black, Blue, Green, Product (RED), and White colour variants, while the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in Gold, Graphite, Pacific Blue, and Silver colour variants. Alongside the iPhone 12 series, Apple brought the HomePod mini and MagSafe wireless charger as its new products.

Apple also announced HomePod Mini at Rs 9,900.
iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini will be available in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB models in blue, green, black, white, and PRODUCT(RED), starting at Rs 79,900 and Rs 69,900, respectively. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models in graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue starting at Rs 119,900 and Rs 129,900, respectively.
The new iPhone 12 series has a thinner design that also makes it lighter and smaller. This is despite the 5G antenna. Arun Mathias, Apple’s vice-president of wireless software, said the new 5G has been tested on over 100 carriers across the world, hitting up to 4 gigabits per second download speeds in ideal conditions. The new phones are powered by Apple’s new A14 Bionic, first seen in the new iPad Air launched last month, and the first to be built on 5nm technology.

Apple has made it latest flagships official – the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max. The new iPhone 12 series now arrives with 5G and the 12 Pro/Max now features a new design upgrade over the iPhone 11 Pro/Max and the iPhone 12/Mini as well. For starters, the iPhone 12 Pro/Max features a stainless steel frame which is squared off like the iPhone 4. This is the first major redesign of the iPhone since the iPhone X was launched in 2017.
The iPhone 12 Pro at 6.1-inch and the iPhone 12 Pro Max at 6.7-inch are bigger than the last year’s iPhone 11 Pro at 5.8-inch and the iPhone 11 Pro Max at 6.5-inches. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has been called the biggest iPhone till date and now features stainless steel instead of aluminium like the iPhone 12 and the iPhone 12 Mini. The Pro models will arrive in four colours – grey, stainless steel, gold, and a new blue.
The iPhone 12 Pro models will be powered by the A14 Bionic chip which was first launched on the iPad Air which was unveiled last month. Apple called it the “most powerful chip ever made” and uses the 5nm process. Apple says the A14 Bionic with its new 6-core CPU and a 4-core GPU is 50 per cent faster in performance than any other phone.
The iPhone 12 Pro models also feature 5G – a standard feature across all iPhone 12 models. The 12 Pro will bring support for sub-6GHz and mmWave 5G which means the iPhones should work with almost all telecom operators – local or global.
